Tudor Artisan Hub Makers

Artist Teresa Moran originally from Carrick-on-Suir, lives on the picturesque Sheep's Head Way, Bantry, Co. Cork. Teresa joined the Tudor Artisan Hub when our doors opened 9th May 2014.

"Landscape is my passion and I am particularly inspired by the power of the sea, the calmness of rivers, the rich colours of the land, and the movement of clouds across a striking blue sky. My style has been described as 'hyper-realistic.' Originals and limited editions are available in the Tudor Artisan Hub.

Between 2017 and 2018, I created a series called 'Colourworks' - celebrating colour and movement in an abstract way. This was a very liberating experience as an artist., and the works were very well received.
I also love to paint spiritual images, inspired by my 2 years of study of Italian Masters while living in Florence.

More recently, since 2022, I have been enjoying the creation of beautifully decorated seashells, which can be used as trinket dishes or wall hangings. I love to collect the shells from the beach as I breathe in the freshness of the ocean. I clean them, decorate them, and enjoy watching their transformation. I call this range 'Taisce Mara,' which means Sea Treasure.

Having grown up in Carrick-on-Suir, and then lived abroad for many years, I now live in the south west of Ireland, outside Bantry, and come back to Carrick on a regular basis. Artwork and commissions can be shipped internationally."
