About the Author: Following an illustrious career, of almost half a century, Michael Kennedy retired home to Ireland. From his idyllic retreat in Drangan Co. Tipperary, he turned his 'golden hands' to writing.

A lucky chance brough Michael Kennedy's talent to the attention of the wardrobe department of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre. From there, he worked in theatres and opera houses of renown in the UK and Europe. Following on from his first bool '990-A True Story' Michael takes up his story from when he travelled to England in the 1960s. Working in men's high fashion, his first contact with showbusiness was making costumes for local pop-groups. These tales follows his career, giving humours glimpses of a life working with famous designers and celebrities of stage and screen.
When Michael finally returns home to the country of his birth, he lends his skills to the local amateur dramatic societies with the same respect and dedication that had marked his professional career.
