Delighted to welcome young entrepreneur Heath Gleeson - Creator of 'Print3D by H' to the Tudor Artisan Hub, February 2025.
Heath, 16 is a TY student in Comeragh College, Carrick-on-Suir and has been exploring 3D printing as a hobby over the last 2 years. In October 2024, Heath took the leap, bravely venturing out to bring his 3D printing products to markets. Heath is blown away by the support he has received, selling out at the 'Tudors and Tractors Festival' pop-up Market in the Ormond Castle, Carrick-on-Suir this Christmas.
Heath's 3D printing is a unique blend of fun, funky and practical products and features an array of products from flexible funky reptiles to quirky plant pots n' plant names to curious holders for glasses, toilet paper and mobile phones and so much more!

Heath has lots of design ideas whirring for our customers and is open to commissions and personalised products. The possibilities with 3D printing are endless. The reaction to Heath's product range in just one week has been absolutely amazing and orders are flying in!

3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, is a method of creating a three dimensional object layer-by-layer using a computer created design. This is the opposite of subtractive manufacturing processes, where a final design is cut from a larger block of material. As a result, 3D printing creates less material wastage.
Heath prints his products with Polylactic Acid (PLA). PLA is a recyclable, natural thermoplastic polyester made from fermented plant starch from corn, cassava, maize, sugarcane or sugar beet pulp. The sugar in these renewable materials is fermented and turned into lactic acid, which is then made into polylactic acid.
PLA is biodegradable under industrial composting conditions and anaerobic digestion.
