Anne O'Keeffe Camon

Anne O'Keeffe Camon is a well known artist born in Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary, living in Waterford. She has a well established reputation particularly for her landscape paintings in oil. Anne's ability to capture and bring to life the beauty and wildness of nature is breathtakingly beautiful. Living near the Comeragh mountains and the little fishing villages that dotted along the Copper Coast as well as her home town of Carrick on Suir, the River Suir and Sliabh na mBan has provided much of the inspiration for her work. Her great love of the Irish landscape and her ability to capture seasonal change is often very evident in her paintings.

Anne's painting career has spanned over 50 years, Anne has combined a busy family life with her own painting career. In the early years she was pleased to receive direction and class instruction from many well known Irish Artists. This knowledge has enabled Anne to develop her own beautiful unique style of painting. In addition to oil, Anne paints using acrylics, mixed media and also paints on silk.

Anne loves experimenting with colour, different mediums and techniques.....and through her still life paintings she shows us extraordinary ways of looking at the ordinary objects around us. Anne also has a fantastic eye for unique frames that add that extra dimension, enhancing her work...

Anne has exhibited her work in many galleries and exhibitions throughout Ireland, including Dublin, Tipperary, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford. Her work can also be found in many prestigious collections at home and abroad.

Anne has been a member of the Hub since we opened our doors May 2014...and her work is highly sought after, particularly her local and coastal scenes.
