Meet the Maker behind 'Lizanne Craft and Design'
Liz Martin, mixed media Artist from Ballinagrana, Carrick on Suir joined the Tudor Artisan Hub in 2019.
Liz's Polymer Clay Work: Liz loves animals and vibrant colours, her creations make the world a more colourful and fun place to be. Liz enjoys working with polymer clay medium because the colours, 3D shapes and textures offer infinite possibilities. "It is a medium that fascinates me and drives my creative process." Liz has developed her own bespoke quirky style that has a big following here in the South East of Ireland. Liz creates miniature figurines, bold jewellery pieces and detailed sculptures - her signature pieces are her delightful 'blowfish' in a rainbow of colours!

Liz has created many bespoke commission pieces from polymer clay and loves a challenge. She has also experimented with acrylic paint pour art which has also proven very popular.
Summer 2024 - Liz experimented with the craft of felting - exploring needle felting and wet felting techniques...creating fabulous frameable felting art greeting cards and framed landscape art. The reaction has been absolutely amazing!
Liz has held a professional career working in Healthcare settings for many years and is now enjoying the extra time to explore other creative mediums...so watch this space!
