Meet the maker - Kathleen O'Neill, Grangemockler, Co. Tipperary

Kathleen joined the Tudor Artisan Hub Arts Collective when we opened our doors back in 2014. Kathleen was one of the Craft Activity Co-ordinators at the Camphill Community in Grangemockler, Co. Tipperary - a community of adults with special needs. Kathleen displayed a collection of beautiful handmade crafts from the weaving workshops at Camphill along with her own gorgeous beaded jewellery.

Since retiring from Camphill Community a few years back, Kathleen has been able to dedicate more time to her beautiful jewellery crafting hobby. Creating unique 'one of a kind' designs with beads has always been a passion of Kathleen's. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and meticulously crafted to bring out the natural beauty of gemstones and the intricate patterns of beading.

"As a beaded jewellery maker, I find immense joy in transforming, colourful beads of all shapes and sizes into beautiful pieces of wearable art. Each piece I create tells a unique story, blending vibrant colours and textures to reflect different moods and inspirations. Whether it’s a delicate bracelet, a bold necklace, or intricate earrings, my creations are meticulously handcrafted with attention to detail and a touch of love.
