"I’m a self taught artist, living in Carrick on Suir for the past 21 years. I retired two years ago from running my own business 7 days a week for 19 years. Since retiring I have taken up art, I was thinking to myself “I would have loved to have been an artist” and then I thought “well go ahead and be one” and so here I am two years in and loving my life now so much.
My art at the moment was inspired by a patchwork quilt and my other style is influenced by Lowry.
I work in Acrylics, paints and pens, I don’t have a studio, I just work very tidily in my sitting room .

Debra joined the Tudor Artisan Hub June 26, 2025. I love Debra's use of bold colours, her fab fun patchwork style artwork is amazing and her artwork inspired by UK artist L.S, Lowry is extraordinary.
