From Fleece to Fabric Art – Wet & Needle Felting Experience
Immerse your group in a hands-on heritage craft experience in the Tudor Artisan Hub’s gallery spaces, working with natural fleece sourced from Irish sheep to create a unique textile wall hanging using traditional wet and needle felting techniques. Guided by an expert maker, this participatory workshop weaves together heritage skills, storytelling, and shared creativity, offering a tactile connection to land and tradition.

The Butler Trail: From Lamented Lands to Ormond Blooms
Set within the 16th-century surrounds of Ormond Castle, this immersive group experience draws on the historic Butler connection between Kilcash Castle and Ormond, bringing the landscapes, stories, and traditions of the valley into the present. Guided by a local grower-maker inspired by the legacy of Lady Iveagh, participants create a seasonal floral piece using blooms grown in the soils of Kilcash—an authentic, participatory expression of heritage, place, and craft.
